Japan has approved US$3 billion (¥480 billion) in support for the ACME Group–IHI Corporation green ammonia project in Odisha under its Contract for Difference (CfD) programme. The funding guarantees 25 years of price support for 228,000 TPA of green ammonia exports from 2030, while Japan’s LTDA programme backs the remaining 177,000 TPA.
