The World Bank has approved USD 680 million in loans for three projects in Assam to boost climate resilience, education and governance. The largest loan supports the Assam Disaster Resilient Hill Roads Development Project, improving connectivity in hilly areas with climate-resilient roads, logistics hubs and EV chargers.
