The US Department of Energy has announced an $861.3 million loan guarantee to develop 200MW of solar PV and 285MW/1,140MWh of battery storage in Puerto Rico. Clean Flexible Energy, a Joint Venture of AES Corporation and TotalEnergies, will manage the project. This initiative aims to enhance grid resilience, reduce energy costs, and support Puerto Rico's climate goals.
