The UK government has approved the joint transmission system for the 480-MW Morecambe and 1,500-MW Morgan offshore wind farms in the Irish Sea. Consent was granted Monday after a six-month examination, covering offshore export cables, onshore landfall, export cables, grid connection cables, substations, and related infrastructure.
