Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) has commenced construction of an 800 MW renewable energy project in Andhra Pradesh with an investment of about ₹5,750 crore. The project comprises 400 MW of solar capacity at Pattikonda in Kurnool district and 400 MW of wind capacity at Kanekallu in Anantapur district, with the wind segment being developed by Suzlon.
