Welspun Narmada Pvt Ltd has withdrawn its 250 MW wind-solar hybrid project in Karnataka after CERC allowed it to cancel its connectivity application. The company cited uncertainty over the readiness of evacuation infrastructure, including the Bidar pooling station and associated transmission facilities, which made financial closure commercially unviable.
