Sri Lanka has revoked its power purchase agreement with the Adani Group for the 484 MW Wind project due to corruption allegations. The agreement, signed in May 2024, was to buy electricity from an unconstructed wind power plant. President Anura Kumara Dissanayake initiated investigations following bribery charges against Adani Group founder Gautam Adani in the US.
