The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a tender for five 160 MVA, 220/33-33 kV transformers in Gujarat under the Make in India initiative. The turnkey project covers engineering, manufacturing, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning. Open only to Class-I local suppliers, the procurement follows a Single Stage Two Envelope system with e-Reverse Auction.
