Mahindra Auto and Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd (SAVWIPL) are nearing a 50:50 Joint Venture to develop electric SUVs for domestic and international markets. SAVWIPL, aiming to divest 50% of its Indian stake, will not include its current portfolio in the venture. The partnership, anticipated to be announced by year-end, will bolster Mahindra's EV market presence and enhance SAVWIPL's position.
