Scotland Launches £4.5m Fund for Rural EV Charging

Scotland now operates over 6,000 public EV charge points, surpassing targets two years early. To address remote area challenges, the government launched a £4.5 million Rural and Island Infrastructure Fund for landowners, businesses, and operators. It also introduced the Cross Pavement Charging Grant, offering up to £3,500 per household for on-street solutions like cable gullies.
