NeuEN Green Energy, a joint venture of BPCL and Sembcorp, has secured a contract to supply 10,000 tonnes per annum of green hydrogen to Numaligarh Refinery in Assam. The project involves setting up a dedicated production facility with long-term offtake and is expected to be operational by 2028. Integrating renewable energy and storage, it will enable round-the-clock supply, supporting refinery decarbonisation and advancing India’s green hydrogen and clean energy ambitions.
