LG Energy Solution has secured a major deal worth an estimated 15 trillion won ($10.8 billion) to supply 107 GWh of EV batteries to Mercedes-Benz. The contract includes 32 GWh for Europe (2028–2035) and 75 GWh for the U.S. (2029–2037), enough to power 1.5 million EVs. This marks LG's largest order for its advanced cylindrical 46-series batteries, which will be produced at its Arizona plant.
