Norway has launched a competition for three Floating Offshore Wind sites at Utsira Nord, each capable of hosting up to 500 MW. The process includes two stages: site allocation based on qualitative criteria by 2026, followed by a competition for state aid. Developers must apply by September 15 and meet strict requirements.
