NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), wholly owned subsidiary of NLC India Limited, secured a 50 MW/200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) tender in West Bengal with WBSEDCL, expanding footprint in eastern India. The win follows recent 265 MW/530 MWh BESS LoA from SJVN in Haryana at Rs 2.35 lakh/MW/month under VGF.
