The National Committee on Transmission has approved an interstate transmission system scheme to supply renewable energy to upcoming green Hydrogen/ammonia plants in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. The scheme, estimated to cost ₹1,618.50 crore, will be developed under the tariff-based competitive bidding route and is expected to be completed within 24 months.
