Danantara plans a 50 GW solar panel manufacturing facility in Indonesia with a USD 1.4 billion investment. The project aims to strengthen the domestic solar supply chain, support utility-scale and rooftop solar deployment, and reduce reliance on imports. It will boost local industries, create jobs, and advance Indonesia’s carbon neutrality and renewable energy goals.
