India is starting with the nascent stages of manufacturing Lithium-ion battery. The project is expected to increase up to 120GWh till 2027-28. According to the NEP 2023 BESS accounts for 236.22h increase by 2031-32. Some of the big giants of India set additional 246 GWh by 2035. India is having price of INR 17000 whereas Chinese price is INR5,800.
