Navitas Solar will invest ₹1,500 crore in a 3.6 GW solar cell plant in Gujarat, enhancing domestic manufacturing capacity and backward integration. The project includes a pilot wafer and ingot production line, aimed at reducing import dependence and strengthening India’s solar value chain. The facility will be developed in phases, with Phase I targeted for 2027.
