MNRE has tightened verification rules under the PM-Surya Ghar scheme to improve accuracy of solar installation data. The ministry has ended the earlier provision allowing repeated solar module or inverter serial numbers through vendor undertakings. The National Portal is now integrated with NISE’s DCR system to auto-verify module details using 16-digit certificates.
