MNRE has approved the continuation of the Renewable Energy Research and Technology Development (RE-RTD) Programme with an outlay of ₹436.93 crore for FY 2026-27 to 2030-31. The initiative will support R&D in solar, wind, bioenergy, storage, geothermal, and hybrid technologies. It includes ₹200 crore for a Perovskite PV Manufacturing Pilot Line and funding for research projects, incubation centres, and technology demonstrations.
