Mercedes-AMG has achieved a groundbreaking 1,000+ kW charging speed with its Concept AMG GT XX, hitting 1,041 kW within half a second and sustaining it for over two minutes. This enables 500 km of range in just four minutes. Powered by an 800V direct-cooled battery with 3,000+ advanced cells, the system was tested on a prototype charger developed with Alpitronic.
