HSBMA, a joint venture between Hyundai Motor Group and SK On, has commenced commercial EV battery cell production at its 35 GWh facility in Bartow County, Georgia. Built with an investment of approximately $5 billion, the plant can supply batteries for around 300,000 electric vehicles annually. The facility will support Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis EV production in the U.
