Meine Electric, a deep-tech startup, raised $750,000 (₹6.7 crore) in a pre-seed round to develop iron-air long-duration energy storage (LDES) solutions. Founded in 2023, it aims to build APAC’s first iron-air battery platform, offering 16–24 hours of storage at under $0.05/kWh. Funds will accelerate pilot-ready prototypes at its Chennai facility.
