HyIron's Oshivela plant in Namibia has achieved a milestone by producing its first green hydrogen using a 12MW electrolyzer powered entirely by solar energy. The plant, supported by a 25MW solar farm and 13.4MW of battery storage, is set to produce 15,000 tonnes of green iron annually, with plans to scale up to two million tonnes by 2030.
