Maharashtra has been awarded ₹260.91 cr for its outstanding performance in the Rooftop Solar Power Scheme. The state has installed 2,37,656 Rooftop Systems, generating 2738 MW of electricity. The Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Free Power Scheme provides free electricity to eligible households, along with subsidies for Solar Panel installations.
