Middle East and North Africa’s first Green Hydrogen based steel production pilot project is successfully completed by the partnership of Masdar and EMSTEEL demonstrating the use of Green Hydrogen in steelmaking. It uses hydrogen to extract iron from iron ore, the Green Hydrogen used is certified by Advance Labs under the ISO 19870 methodology and validated by Bureau Veritas.
