India and the UK launched the India–UK Offshore Wind Taskforce to boost cooperation in offshore wind under Vision 2035. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi highlighted strategic leadership for ecosystem planning, infrastructure development, supply chains, financing, and risk mitigation. Offshore wind zones off Gujarat and Tamil Nadu will support energy security, grid stability, and industrial growth, including green hydrogen clusters.
