JSW Neo Energy Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Energy, secured a Letter of Intent for 1,500 MW / 12,000 MWh of Pumped Hydro Energy Storage from MSEDCL for its Bhavali project in Maharashtra. This boosts its total Energy Storage capacity to 16.2 GWh, comprising 14.4 GWh of Pumped Hydro and 1.8 GWh of Battery Storage.
