KERC clarified that transmission charges for added Solar or Wind capacity in co-located hybrid Power Projects will not exceed contracted limits unless new capacity exceeds the contract. In such cases, charges will be based on the higher capacity. New Hybrid Projects will incur charges based on the higher installed capacity, with evacuation approvals and potential costs for transmission upgrades.
