AGL received approval for its 500MW/2000MWh Tomago BESS from the New South Wales Government, which will be requiring an investment of AU$1Billion. It’ll be located near the Hunter-Central Coast REZ enhancing its reliability as this REZ attracted investment of AU$100 billion in 2022. AGL’s GM, Travis Hughes via LinkedIN exhibited company’s aspirations to add 12GW of renewables by 2035.
