Island Development Authority has greenlit that Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep are set to achieve the goal of 100% renewable energy through Wind and Solar power. They will become the first two union territories in India to achieve such a feat courtesy to abundant solar and wind power of the territories.
