KBR will execute pre-front-end engineering design for a 900 MW green ammonia project in Laayoune, southern Morocco. Led by the ORNX consortium, the $4.8 billion project will use more than 2 GW of wind and solar capacity to produce 560,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually. The facility will initially produce 100,000 tonnes per year.
