Australia-based Stor-Energy has proposed a 150MW/730MWh Molong Battery energy storage project in New South Wales, aiming to support grid stability by storing excess energy and supplying it during peak demand. The project covers 426 hectares with a disturbance footprint of 9.6 hectares, featuring 264 modular battery enclosures and 50 power conversion stations.
