The National Committee on Transmission (NCT) approved an interstate transmission scheme for Green Hydrogen/Ammonia projects in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. Known as the "Transmission system for proposed Green Hydrogen/Green Ammonia projects in Tuticorin area," the Rs.2,617 crore scheme will be executed under tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) and is set for completion in 30 months.
