Jakson Engineers Limited of India’s Jakson Group has partnered with Italian firm Ecoprogetti SRL to set up India’s first hi-tech photovoltaic module recycling plant. The facility will recycle about 300 MW of panels annually, or 500,000 modules, recovering aluminium, glass, silicon, copper and silver.
