State-run Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency has signed a facility agreement with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation to raise JPY 28 billion through External Commercial Borrowing, including a greenshoe option of JPY 12 billion. The five-year unsecured facility will support sustainable financing initiatives, strengthen IREDA’s resource base, and enhance its global market presence, enabling expanded lending aligned with India’s renewable energy and development goals.
