16.15 lakh EV have been incentivized, under the FAME India-II scheme which includes 14.27 lakh two-wheelers and 1.59 lakh three-wheelers. The scheme has also boosted the EV infrastructure by developing charging stations, which includes sanctioning of 10,958 EV charging stations with 8,812 allocated for installation.
