India’s annual wind power capacity addition is set to more than double to 7.1 GW in FY 2025-27 from 3.4 GW in FY 2023-25, reaching 63 GW by 2026-27. Growth is driven by government support, hybrid Renewable Projects, and improved tariffs. With over 30 GW of hybrid projects in the pipeline and increasing PPA traction, Wind Energy is expected to expand significantly.
