The Bengaluru scientist has discovered the particular substitute of Lithium-ion batteries problems. Based on a NASICON-type cathode and anode material, a research team at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), an independent institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), has created a super-fast charging sodium ion battery that can last 3000 charge cycle up to 80% in just 6 minutes.
