Octopus Australia Secures Approval for 300MW Solar Project

Octopus Australia has received grid connection approval from AEMO for its 300MW Blind Creek Solar Farm and Battery in New South Wales. The project, which includes a 243MW/486MWh battery, will begin construction in Q3 2025. Located near Canberra, the 600-hectare site will feature 600,000 Solar Modules and incorporate agrivoltaics for sheep farming.
