India has secured firm green hydrogen offtake commitments of 5,55,610 MTPA as of October 2026, with 18 agreements in 2026 for over 4 lakh MTPA. Since National Green Hydrogen Mission launch in 2023, 23 contracts covering 5.5 lakh MTPA have been signed, over 70% for exports, expected to attract Rs 90,000 crore investment.
