India’s Clean Energy drive received a major boost with a ₹27,000-crore equity infusion into NTPC Ltd and NLC India Ltd. NTPC secured ₹20,000 crore to scale renewable energy via NTPC Green Energy Ltd, supporting its goal of 60 GW RE capacity by 2032. NLCIL received ₹7,000 crore for investment through its arm NLC India Renewables Ltd.
