OQ Alternative Energy of Oman and Kuwait’s Naqaa Sustainable Energy have partnered to develop wind energy projects across Duqm, Mahout, and Sadah, targeting a combined capacity of 1,100 MW. The wind turbines will be supplied by the upcoming Mawarid Turbine factory in Duqm. The agreement supports Oman’s clean energy transition and energy diversification goals.
