Hungary has successfully closed a tender to convert the lignite-fueled Mátra Power Plant into a hydrogen-ready combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) plant. This new facility will be capable of operating with up to 30% hydrogen, marking a significant step towards Hungary's green energy transition.
