Germany sees India as a future green hydrogen supplier as bilateral clean energy cooperation expands, according to Ambassador Philipp Ackermann. India’s renewable energy growth, including large-scale solar and wind projects, is expected to support its emergence as an energy exporter. Germany and India are collaborating on green hydrogen technologies, including localisation of alkaline water electrolyser technology through Thyssenkrupp and BHEL.
