Mote Hydrogen, based in Los Angeles, California, has successfully raised $7 million in Series A funding to scale its biomass-to-hydrogen production processes. The company focuses on converting wood waste into hydrogen while capturing carbon dioxide permanently, a process known as Biomass Carbon Removal and Storage (BiCRS).
