The Haryana government has amended the Haryana Building Code, 2017, to make EV charging infrastructure mandatory in new residential and non-residential buildings. Residential projects with parking for at least 10 cars must provide one EV charging spot for every five parking spaces, while commercial establishments must provide one for every three spaces.
