First Solar Inc has signed a non-exclusive patent licensing agreement with perovskite solar cell manufacturer Oxford Photovoltaics Ltd, enabling the development of perovskite-based PV devices for the US utility, commercial, industrial, and residential markets. The agreement covers Oxford PV’s issued and pending patents, excluding crystalline silicon technologies.
