The investment allocation of US $ 28.7 Million has been announced on the 20 Dec,2024 to Grid Battery Resilience to protect the electric grid from the weather. The Grip program will focus on investing on the utility scale of BESS. Since 2023, DOE is giving special attention on the grid stability and allocates some budget to it.
