The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) is partnering with Zuid Energies Limited to introduce electric vehicle (EV) taxi services at major international airports. The initiative includes a pilot launch of 20 EVs at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, with plans to expand to Lagos, establishing a cashless and digital booking system and dedicated EV charging infrastructure.
